Set Up Reorder Methods
- From the main screen of Retailer, click on Stock -> Suppliers and Departments.
Alternatively, on the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Stock Maintenance -> Suppliers and Departments. - Click on the Reordering tab.
- To add a new reorder method:
- Click on Add.
- In Description, enter a name for this reorder method.
This is what will appear in other screens. - In Sales Reordering Number of Days, leave this at 0.
- In Pack Reorder Method, select between Unit or Pack.
- If Unit is selected, then Retailer will reorder the individual item.
- If Pack is selected, then Retailer will reorder the pack.
- In Use High Qty, tick this if you want to reorder a full pack if the required amount leads to a partial pack.Note: This option only works with the Pack reorder method.
For example: - A pack consists of 30 units.
- Based on the reorder settings, you require 80 units to be ordered.
- If you tick Use High Qty, Retailer will reorder 3 packs (for a total of 90 units).
- If you untick Use High Qty, Retailer will only reorder 2 packs (for a total of 60 units) so it doesn't go over the quantity required.
- Click Save.
