Sales and Arrivals history for stock

Stock screen - Arrivals and Sales

The Stock screen has several tabs showing different information for a particular Stock item.
One of the tabs available is called Arrivals and Sales, which serves to provide information on the sales and arrivals (receiving) history of the item.

Finding stock in the Stock screen

The stock item that you wish to check needs to be brought up in the Stock screen first.
  1. Open the Stock Screen by clicking Stock then Stock Screen in the main menu of Retailer.
  2. Click the Magnifying Glass 🔎︎ button at the bottom of the Stock Screen to open the Find Stock Screen, which is a list of all your stock items
  3. Click into one of the columns (Stock Description, Barcode, Supplier Stock Code or PLU) and start typing the details of the item your are searching for.
  4. Alternatively, you can use Advanced Search to find the item you are looking for - click HERE for more details.
  5. Once you have located the item you are looking for, double-click it to open it in the Stock Screen. Alternatively, click it once to select it, then click OK.
You should now be able to see the details of the item you searched for in the Stock Screen.

Checking arrivals and sales

Click into the Arrivals & Sales tab at the top of the Stock screen.
There are two sections to this screen - the arrival information in the top grid, and the sales information in the bottom grid.
Both sections will start out empty when first entering this tab.

To see the sales and arrivals information, simply click the Show Arrivals and Sales button.
It will prompt for a date range to check sales for, so select the starting date on the left, and the ending date on the right.
For newsagencies, you may also tick the box Exclude Home Deliveries & Subagent sales, to avoid seeing those in the history.

The top section will display all Invoice Arrivals done on the product, including the invoice number, the invoice date, arrival date, supplier, along with details of the item.
The bottom section will display the sales information of each transaction of the item, including the sale date, time, terminal where sale was processed, serial number of item and customer details. This includes Normal Sales, Invoice Sales, Invoice Credits and Layby Sales.
The columns in each section can be sorted or filtered.
