The Audit Log in the Retailer software is a business owner-only function. We will only provide advice on its operation, data location, and related issues to business owners or those they have personally approved to have this information.
The data accessed by the Audit Log is securely stored to provide appropriate insights if an investigation is required. This information can be useful when examining customer accounts, sales transactions, supplier invoices and orders, and stock modifications (quantity on hand), to name a few areas of interest.
A report can be generated from the information logged in the Audit Log by using the Print or Preview buttons. Additionally, a Summary Report can be generated to provide a snapshot of Audit Log events.
If you are using AI models, you may also get an analysis of the audit activities done by AI, providing a quick summary which may indicate areas that should be looked into. This is done by clicking the AI Summary button.
You will need to be setup to use AI first, and you can do this with the advice provided
HERE. You would then need to select an AI model to use under
Setup -> AI, in the Audit Summary line.
