Show Notes When Stock Items are Scanned in POS

Enable/Disable Companion Notes to Show in the POS Screen

  1. On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Setup -> System.
  2. Click on the Stock tab.
  3. Tick/Untick Show Companion Stock Details
  4. Click Save and then Close.

Enter Notes on Each Stock Item

  1. On the main screen of Retailer, click on Stock -> Stock Screen.
    Alternatively, on the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Stock Maintenance -> Stock Screen.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass to access the Find Stock Screen.
  3. Search for and select the particular stock item. Click OK.
  4. Click on the Other tab.
  5. In Companion Text, type in the message that you want to show on the POS screen when the item is scanned.
  6. Click Save.

When the item is scanned into the POS, the companion text will appear below the totals.
Stock Item Companion Notes can be set in Bulk using Stock Manager. See Making Bulk Changes Through Stock Manager
