Point of Sale Tracking for Post Code or FlyBuys

Point of Sale Tracking for Post Code or FlyBuys

Enabling POS tracking allows you to gain a more in depth understanding of specific details of your customers such as Postcode or FlyBuys Number. This can be useful in understanding how local your customers are, which can guide your engagement on social media and elsewhere.
Our advice is that turning on postcode tracking for, say, up to two months a year could be useful in providing helpful insights.
If you turn this on, we suggest you place a note at the counter explaining why you are collecting postcode data. Providing customers with context could help them engage with you on this.

Enabling Tracking

  1. On the top menu bar or Retailer, click on Setup → System.
  2. Click on the Other tab.
  3. At the bottom of the page, under POS Tracking Settings, tick the option for the POS Tracking you wish to enable:
    1. Enable Post Code tracking in POS
    2. Enable FlyBuys Number tracking in POS
  4. Using the plus + button add the types of sales you wish to track and press OK.
  5. To stop tracking for a type of sale, click the sale type then click the minus - button
  6. In Min FlyBuys amount, you can enter a minimum amount for the sale before it starts prompting to track FlyBuys numbers.

Entering details at End Sale

For Sale Types that have been enabled for POS Tracking, a prompt will appear when ending the sale in the Point of Sale screen.
Enter the Postcode or FlyBuys number and click Ok
