Before you start to setup your end of shift, you should ensure that your float values are all set up correctly - click HERE for more information.

End of Shift Settings

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, click on the End of Shift icon.
  2. Once the graphs load, click Setup.
  3. You’ll notice arrows at the top. Use these to move between different terminals (the name of the terminal is shown to the right of the arrows).
  4. In Terminal, choose between performing an end of shift using the figures from This TerminalAll Terminals or Selected Terminal(s). Select Terminals using the tickbox grid to the right.
  5. In Till Balance And Float:
    • Automatically Reset Till Balance to the Float will automatically reset the till's float to a preset amount.
    • Manually Reset Till Float will allow you to set a specific float amount each time.
  6. In Options, you can choose from the following:
    • Transfer The End Of Shift Sales will provide a prompt to transfer and reset the daily sales figures.
    • Count Notes and Coins will provide a screen in which the number of each denomination can be entered in.
    • Include Float When Counting Notes and Coins will take the float into account when calculating cash totals.
    • Count Notes & Coins in Descending Order will list the denominations from highest ($100) to lowest (5c).
    • Clear Suspended Sales will remove any suspended sales that are in the Point of Sale screen.
    • Send All Reports Directly to the Printer will automatically print reports as they are generated.
    • Use Receipt Printer as Printer will print End of Shift reports to the receipt printer.
    • Change Banking Amount / Add Cheques allows you to change the amount of cash taken from the till as well as adding cheques. This will alter the float and figures accordingly.
    • Perform PC-EFTPOS Settlement will perform a settlement if you're using the PC-EFTPOS application.
  7. In Reports to Produce, select the report types that you want generated and/or printed. Click HERE for information about what reports are available, and details of each report.
  8. In Detailed Sales Options, set the desired options for the Detailed Sales report if set to run in Reports to Produce
  9. In Email, expand the email options using the down arrow button ⍌, click the ... button. You're then able to change the Management Email Address and tick Email End of Shift Reports to Manager. Multiple email addresses can be separated by a semi-colon ;
  10. Click Proceed or the green tick icon on the top-left to save any changes.
