0:04 Let's have a look at some basic till and receipt printer set up. So we're going to go to set up point of sale. 0:13 The first screen we can see here is the till setup screen. Now for every computer that is going to have retailer installed, each computer needs its own till Id assigned to it, even if the computer isn't going to have a physical cash. 0:31 So my system is going to have three tills, so I'm going to add my other two. Add and save. And add and save. 0:42 Now I'm going to have two point of sale terminals and one back office computer. So my two point of sale terminals are going to be assigned till one, till two. 0:51 They're both going to have Cash Drawers. So we'll turn that on and we select LPT! in the port dropdown as well and safe. 1:02 That will make the cash drawers work. The next setting we have is the float. So I'm gonna have 250 in one and 250 in the next till. 1:13 The next tab along the top is terminals and that's where we set up the basic receipt printer settings along with which tills, which computers are assigned. 1:22 So I've got POS1 and POS2. Each are assigned to till one until two respectively. This is my back office computer, so I'm gonna assign that to till three. 1:33 In this example, I've set up my receipt printer on this computer. So what we do to set up the receipt printer is we click on use printer driver, we select the Epson receipt printer, we press save. 1:50 The final step to setting up the basic receipt printer settings is to going into report mapping here, click on add defaults answer yes, and then close.
