Guide to the Roam Point of Sale
Customising the Point of Sale Screen
Click the Actions button and click Edit Layout
If the Edit Layout option is missing, check that POS Layout Editing has not been disabled in POS Layout Settings
In the Layout Edit Mode, the Search Box in the POS Screen changes to a Done button. Click this button to save your changes.
Click an existing button to remove it.
Buttons without an action set appear as a grey square with a plus + symbol. Click an unset button to set an Action.
Additional pages of buttons can be added using the Plus button at the bottom of the page.

The following Button Types are available:
- Product - Add 1x item to Cart
- Category - Show a list of Stock Items in the selected Category to add to Cart
- Department - Show a list of Stock Items in the selected Department to add to Cart
- Park Sale - Suspend a Sale to continue later
- Switch Sale - Retrieve a Suspended Sale
- Add Note To Sale - Enter a Note against the current sale
- Cancel Sale - Empty Cart and start new sale
- Discount Sale - Apply a Discount to all items in the Cart
- Add Customer - Select a Customer for the current Sale. Can also Add a New Customer.
- Apply Customer Loyalty Points - Discount the current sale using the Customers Loyalty Points
Don't forget to press Done to save your changes
