The Discount Voucher system in Retailer allows you to create discount voucher categories, which can be assigned to particular customers such as VIPs. The discount voucher categories are usually set up with different values to provide those customers with higher/lower amounts on their discount vouchers.

Setting Up a Discount Voucher Category
- On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Setup -> Customer
- Click on the Discount Voucher Categories tab.
- Click on Add.
- Type in a description for the discount voucher category (eg. VIP Customer).
- Click Save then Close.
Setting Up a Discount Voucher Type
- On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Setup -> Vouchers
- On the top-left, click on Voucher Setup.
- In the Voucher Types section, click Add:
- In Description, type a description such as VIP.
- In Discount Voucher Category, select the newly-created discount voucher category from the down-down list.
- In Discount Type, select between a Percentage or Amount.
- In Start Date and Stop Date, select the period you want the vouchers to print for.
- Tick all the days of the week you want the vouchers to print.
- Click Save.
Setting Up Discount Voucher Values
- Click on the newly-created voucher type to highlight it.
- At the bottom of the screen, click Add.
- Enter the Contribution Total, Voucher Percentage and Days until expiry as required.
- Click Save.
Assigning Customers to the Discount Voucher Category
- From the main screen of Retailer, click on Customers.
- Search for the desired customer.
- Click on the Other tab.
- In Disc Voucher Category, select the newly-created Discount Voucher Category.
- Click Save.
