You can use customer loyalty cards, which have barcodes on them for each respective customer. This allows you to simply scan the customer's card instead of having to search for them when performing a sale.

Make sure to mention to Creative Plastic Cards that you are a Tower customer.

If you decide to go through a different third-party, the barcodes must meet the following requirements:

  • Start with the numbers 25
    AND
  • Have a total length of 8 OR 14 digits

For example, 25123456 or 25123456789012.

Setting up Customers with Printed Loyalty Cards

  1. From the main screen of Retailer click on Setup -> System.
  2. Click on the Customers tab.
  3. Tick the Allow the customer barcode to be changed box.
  4. Click Save and Close.

To Allocate Barcodes to Existing Customers

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, click on the Customers icon.
  2. In Barcode on the top-left, delete the existing barcode and scan the barcode on the loyalty card.
  3. Click Save.

To Allocate Barcodes to New Customers

  1. If you add a customer directly in the Customer Screen, scan the barcode as shown above.
    If you are adding a new customer through the Add Customer Wizard, scan the barcode in the Cus Barcode field.
To use a customer loyalty card, simply scan the card during a sale to allocate the sale to that customer.
