Customer Loyalty Report

Report Summary

The Customer Loyalty Report can be used to display different information about your Loyalty program.
The report can display the following information:
  1. how many Loyalty Points customers have earned and redeemed.
  2. see when customers have earned and redeemed their Loyalty Points.
  3. when customer Loyalty Points are due to expire.
  4. what stock items customers have earned and redeemed Loyalty Points on.
  5. which particular customer groups have earned Loyalty Points.

Generating the Report

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, click on Reports → Customer → Loyalty.
  2. In the Date Range section,
    1. Tick Show Points Accrued For A Date Range and enter a Start Date and End Date, if you want to see what points have been accrued between your chosen date range,
    2. Untick if you don't want to look at a particular date range.
  3. In Customers to Include, select: 
    1. All Loyalty Customers -  if you want all Customers displayed on the report.
    2. Selected Customer - press [Enter] to select a specific customer.
  4. In Expiry Details,
    1. Tick Only Include Customers With Points Due To Expire In and specify a number of days.
    2. Untick if you are not interested in expiring points.
    3. InfoUse this option and the above date range see which customers have points about to expire
  5. In Points Balance,
    1. Tick Only Include Customers With Points Balance Between and specify a range of points.
    2. Untick if you are not interested in specific point balances.
  6. In Report Order, select between:
    1.  List in Customer Number Order - displays customers in their number order.
    2. List in Customer Surname Order - displays customers in their surname order.
  7. In Customer Categories, choose between:
    1. All Categories 
    2. Selected and specify a specific category.
  8. In Customer Interests, choose between:
    1. All Interests
    2. Selected and specify a specific interest.
  9. In Customer Tags, enter Customer Tags to filter the Report to only Customers with any of the specified Tags. Either select the tag from the drop-down and use the '+' button to add it, or use the '...' button to select the tags from a list of those available.
  10. Click on Preview or Print.
    1. Preview will display the report on the screen.
    2. Print will send the report to your default windows printer.
  11. Click Export to save a Text File export of the report in C:\Tower\Retailer\Outtray\Loyalty.txt
    Note: See below for steps to save an Export using the Print button in the Report Preview screen

Reading the Report

At the top of the Report, you will see your chosen requirements, based on the above settings.
The Customer Loyalty Report shows the following values, for each customer.
  1. Customer Number - the customer's ID number.
  2. Name - customer's name.
  3. Points Accrued - number of Loyalty Points accrued.
  4. Loyalty Sales - number of transactions which involved Loyalty Points.
  5. Total Loyalty Sale Value - the value of all Loyalty sales.
  6. Total Loyalty Gross Profit - the total Gross Profit of all items sold which have earned Loyalty Points.
  7. Avg Points Per Sale - the average number of Loyalty Points earned per sale.
  8. Points Redeemed - the number of Loyalty Points the customer has redeemed.
  9. Number of Redemptions - the number of sales where Loyalty Points were redeemed in.
  10. Total Value of Redemptions - the total dollar value of all sales where Loyalty Points have been redeemed in.
  11. Points Remaining - total number of Loyalty Points the customer still has.
At the bottom of the report, each column will display the overall total for all customers combined.

Exporting the Report

You can export the report to either a PDF document or Excel spreadsheet by using the Preview button and following the below steps:
PDF - Click on the red PDF button at the top of the report and choose your save destination.
Excel spreadsheet - Click on the Print button at the top left. Tick 'Print to File' and select 'Xlsx Data File'. Click on the three dots button [...] to choose your save destination. Click OK to save the file.
