Public holiday quantities allow you to set different quantities for customer orders during public holidays.

If you just want to stop the customers orders during a public holiday, you should follow the Creating A Non Arrival article.

Enable Public Holiday Quantities

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, go to Setup -> Newsagency -> General.
  2. Tick the Public Holiday Quantities available for Customer Orders box.
  3. Click Save and then Close.

Entering Public Holidays

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, go to Setup -> Newsagency -> Public Holidays.
  2. Click on Add Public Holiday.
  3. Choose the Date and enter the name of the holiday in Public Holiday Description.
  4. In Stock To Include, select titles that will be affected. If you choose Specific, you will also need to enter the PLU of the title in Stock Item.
  5. Click Save.

Setting Up a Customer Order

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, go to Customers -> Customer Screen and locate the correct customer using the magnifying glass icon.
  2. Click on Orders.
  3. Click Add and add the details of the order as usual.
  4. Tick the Use Public Holiday Quantities.
  5. In the Holiday column, enter the quantity for the order for public holidays.
  6. Click Save.
  7. If the customer has existing orders, use the Locate button to find the other orders and repeat steps 4-6 for each order.
