- Provider
- Choose OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic depending on which provider you want to use
- Model: Changes which AI model/engine is used to read the invoice. If the AI seems to be struggling to generate a blog post, you can try changing the model here. The following models are good at generating blog posts
- OpenAI (ChatGPT)
- pick the newer models for the improvements they have over previous versions, but avoid ones marked "latest" as they can be experimental and still a work-in-progress.
- Google Gemini
- Any flash model is good, so pick the latest full Flash model available, but avoid "latest" or "preview" models in the list as these aren't necessarily final release versions of the model.
- Any Pro model will be more powerful and work very well. But using a free account will make cause it to run out of credits quickly and stop working. So if you are using a free account, don't use this version.
- Anthropic
- Claude uses 3 lines of model: Opus is the most expensive, slowest, and most accurate. Haiku is the fastest, cheapest, and least accurate. Sonnet sits in-between. For analysing invoices, we have found that Sonnet is a good compromise.
- Regardless of which of the 3 options you choose you must select model 4.5 or newer (eg. Claude Sonnet 4.5). Older models will not work.
- Use Structured Response: must be enabled
- Temp
- The Temperature (Temp) setting determines how creative the AI Model should be.
- The Range is 0 (not creative) to 2 (more creative, varied response)
- Must be 1 for the latest models
- Not applicable for older models
