Retailer’s Staff Roster allows you to use the system to allocate shifts to you staff and notify staff of their weekly roster by SMS, email or print.

Setting Up the Staff Roster
Retailer’s roster facility rotates between Week 1, Week 2, Week 3 and Week 4.
- From the main screen of Retailer, go to Setup -> Staff Roster.
- The date will default to today’s date, and the equivalent week number will be calculated automatically. You may change the date or week number to modify the roster for that period.
- If required, you can click on Staff Colour to change the colour for the staff on the roster.
- In the upper area of the screen, select the staff member you wish to add to the roster.
- In the lower area:
- Tick the days that the staff member will work in the week selected.
- For each day, type their Start and Finish times.
- Click Save.
- Additionally, you can also set up Exclusion Times for shift and meal breaks.
- Click the Edit button on the right to open the exclusions screen.
- Enter the Start Time and Finish Time of the available breaks for the selected day of the week, then click Add.
- Click Save once the available breaks for that day have been entered.
- Click Save.
Options Slide Menu
The Options menu sits at the bottom of the Staff Roster screen, and expands when the mouse is moved over it. It includes a number of buttons:
Duplicate All Four Weeks | Copies the current settings for Week 1-Week 4 into the selected date period |
Duplicate Prior Week | Copies the previous week’s roster to the selected week |
Block Roster | One of two visual representations of the roster, which includes the hours worked on the current day and in the current week |
Drag & Drop Setup | A graphical representation of the roster, which allows you to see and modify the week’s roster in a vertical column format |
Email Roster | Email the hours to each staff member that has an email address set up. E-mail settings will also need to be set up according to Email Settings. |
SMS Roster | Sends the hours to each staff member that has a mobile number set up. SMS settings will also need to be set up according to SMS Alerts. |
Edit Staff | Allows you to add, edit and delete staff members. |
