Retailer can be setup to send stock orders via email directly to Pet Smart suppliers.

Setting Up Retailer for Pet Smart Integration

Before using Pet Smart Integration in Retailer, certain settings and files need to be imported in order to send the orders. To set this up, follow the steps below (You do not need to close Retailer for this to work).

You must do this step on the SERVER/MAIN PC (The computer where backups are done on)

  1. Click HERE to download the Pet Smart Integration setup file.
  2. One of the following events will happen, depending on the Internet program being used:
    • A long bar will appear at the bottom with 3 buttons on the right. Click on Run.
      OR
    • Double-click on the JFPSetup.exe icon on the bottom-left of the screen. Click Run when prompted. 
      OR
    • A blue arrow on the top-right will flash. Click on it and double-click on JFPSetup.exe. Click Run when prompted.
  3. A window may appear asking if you want allow changes to your PC. Click Yes to this message.
  4. In the following Installation Wizard window:
    • Click Next.
    • Click Install.
    • Click Finish.

Setting Up Suppliers

  1. On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Stock Maintenance -> Suppliers and Departments.
  2. Click on the Suppliers tab.
  3. Click on the magnifying glass icon and select one of the Pet Smart suppliers.
  4. Within the Details tab:
    • In the Supplier Abbreviation box, type in the respective number for the supplier based on the list below:

    • In the E-Mail box, type in orders@interprisesoftware.com.
    • In Your Account Number With This Supplier, type in your Just For Pets account code eg. JFP123.
    • Click Save.
  5. Click on the Other tab:
    • In Format Of Order To Export, tick PDF and select TXT.
    • In Order Email Subject, type in your Just For Pets account code again.
    • Click Save.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for all your other Pet Smart suppliers.
  7. Click Close when you are finished.

Sending Orders

  1. Create an order as you normally do through Stock Maintenance -> Orders -> Orders Maintenance.
    NOTE: For more information about creating orders, click HERE.
  2. Click on Print Order.
  3. Make sure current order is selected and click E-mail.
  4. Select Create Order For: and select Just For Pets from the drop-down box.
  5. Click Process Order.
  6. The send e-mail window for your e-mail client eg. Outlook or Thunderbird, will appear. 
  7. You can type in a message or edit the e-mail as you like.
  8. Click on the send button to send the e-mail.
