RoamV2 - Setup Multi Factor Authentication

You can require a Two-Factor Authentication (MFA) code be entered when logging into the Owner's Roam Account. This can help prevent unauthorised access.
The code can be sent to a nominated email or mobile phone number.

Staff Members should login to Roam using a
Staff Account

Enable MFA

  1. Login to the Roam Dashboard
  2. In the top right corner, click your profile icon (store-owner)
  3. Click My Profile Settings
  4. Click Setup new MFA method
  5. Choose a MFA method, Email or SMS
  6. Enter a valid email address or mobile phone number (Must be an Australian number without spaces eg. 0418554963). Click Send Code
  7. Enter your Roam Password and the MFA code sent to your chosen email or mobile phone number. Click Confirm Code
  8. You can setup both Email and SMS MFA Methods if you wish

Login using MFA

  1. On the login page, chose TA-Link Account.
  2. Enter your username and password as normal. Click Sign In
  3. Choose a MFA Method to receive an MFA Code. Click Continue
  4. Enter MFA Code sent to your chosen email or mobile phone number. Click Continue

Remove MFA

  1. Login to the Roam Dashboard
  2. In the top right corner, click your profile icon (store-owner)
  3. Click My Profile Settings
  4. Click the MFA Method you wish to remove.
  5. Enter your TALink Password. Click Continue
  6. Enter MFA Code sent to your chosen email or mobile phone number. Click Remove MFA
