Layby Cancellation Fees

When you cancel a layby and decide to refund the deposit and/or payments made, you have the option of charging a layby cancellation fee.

The following cancellation fees types can be applied:

1. Not Applicable - No cancellation fee is applied
   
2. Fixed Amount Per Layby Transaction - The cancellation fee is a dollar amount that you specify.
   
3. Percentage of the Layby Transaction Amount - The cancellation fee is a percentage of the entire layby value.
   
4. Percentage of the Layby Credit Balance - The cancellation fee is a percentage of the amount that has been paid towards the layby.

To set a default layby cancellation fee:

1. On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Setup -> System.
2. Click on the Layby tab.
3. In the Layby Cancellation Fee section:
• In Cancellation Fee Type, select the required fee type from the drop-down box.
• In Cancellation Fee Amount/Rate, enter the fee amount or percentage.
4. Click Save and then Close.
