Sharing A Printer
To share a printer complete these steps on the computer where the printer is installed.
- Click on Start.
- Without clicking anything else, type in 'control'
- Click Control Panel
- Click on Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on the computer you want to share and click on Printer Properties.
- Click on Sharing.
- Tick the Share this printer tick-box.
- Click OK.
Connecting to a Shared Printer
Repeat the following steps on each computer to install the printer
- Click on Start.
- Without clicking anything, type in 'network'
- Click on View network computers and devices
- Double-click on the computer name that the printer is connected to.
- Right-click on the printer you want to connect to.
- Click Connect
- When the printer is installed you should see a box similar to the one below:
