Retailer uses the default printer for printing barcode labels, End of Shift reports and also for previews of other reports. If you have problems with any of them, you should check the default printer as explained below.
The instructions below apply to Windows 7 and onwards.
- Close Retailer.
- On the bottom-left of the screen, click on the Start / Windows button.
- Type in the word control (You don't need to click anywhere else).
- Click the Control Panel option that appears.
- Click on the Devices and Printers option. You may need to first change the view to small icons mode.
- In the Devices and Printers screen:
- Right-click on the printer that you want to set as the default printer.
- Click on Set as Default Printer.
- The printer will now show a green tick next to the icon.
