
It is important to add staff members to Retailer. This will allow you to add them to the roster, allow them to finish sales with staff initials and keep track of all their important information. To set up a new staff member follow these steps:
- From the main screen of Retailer click on Setup -> General.
- Click on the Staff tab.
- Click Add at the bottom-left of the screen.
- In Initials, enter a short code for the staff member. Alternatively, you can click on the blue button and Retailer will generate a code for you.
NOTE: This code can then be printed on a barcode label to be used on a card. Click HERE for more information. - In Name, enter the name of the staff.
- Optionally, you can enter any of the other information on the screen.
- Click Save when you are finished.

The security settings for staff members are separate from Retailer's Visibility and Security passwords. They can indicate which staff member knows a particular security password, but they provide no integrated function between the two.
