Price columns can be used to charge different price points for publications. For example, when you want to do a discount offer on a subscription or when you want to charge a higher price due to the distance of delivery. This can be used separately or in conjunction with delivery fees.

Price columns only work for items with a Daily frequency, such as newspapers. For more information about stock item frequencies, click HERE.

Setting Up Price Columns

  1. On the main screen of Retailer, click on Stock -> Stock Screen.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass button.
  3. In the Find Stock Screen, search for and select the parent item. This is usually the one with a PLU.
  4. Back in the Stock Screen, you should now see a table at the bottom of the screen.
    • Cost and Retail are the normal prices.
    • To the right of that, you will see Cost and Sell price columns 2, 3 and 4.
      Change these prices as required.
  5. Click Save.

Setting Up Customer Orders Using Price Columns

  1. On the main screen of Retailer, click on Customers.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass button.
  3. Search for and select the particular customer.
  4. Add a new order or double-click on an existing order to edit it.

  5. In Price Column, select the particular price column in the drop-down box
  6. Click Save.
