Changing the Description of a Stock Item
Change Stock Description Permanently
- From the main screen of Retailer, click on Stock -> Stock Screen.
- Click on the magnifying glass icon and search for the particular stock item.
- Change the text in the field labelled Description.
- Click Save.
Change Stock Description Temporarily
- Scan the item into the Point of Sale screen.
- Press [Esc] on your keyboard.
- Select the item and press [Alt]+[J] on your keyboard.
- Type in the temporary description you wish the item to have.
- Click Save.
- Continue processing the sale.
