Adding or Removing stock from Webstore

This advice relates to Retailer systems using the Tower Web Connect (TWC) link to connect to Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento websites. The following steps only work if you have already setup this TWC link.

Adding stock to webstore

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, go to the Stock screen.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass on the bottom.
  3. Search for the stock item and click  OK.
  4. Tick  Webstore Item  and click  Save.
    It is recommended that you update the other details of the product before sending it across to the webstore. E.g. update the Web Description, set up variants, add images

Removing stock from webstore

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, go to the Stock screen.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass on the bottom.
  3. Search for the stock item and click OK.
  4. Untick Webstore Item and click Save.
The item will usually be removed from the webstore within 24hrs.

Syncing/forcing update of items

If you want to force the stock to be added/removed faster, complete the extra steps below.
  1. From the main screen of Retailer, click on Tasks ->Weblink Full Sync, then click Yes. 
    (For versions of Retailer older than 3.2.4, click Tasks -> Web store Import/Export, then click on Weblink Sync.)
  2. Wait at least 5 mins.
  3. Login to Tower Web Connect https://twc.towersystems.com.au/
    (Also accessible via our website https://www.towersystems.com.au/login.html)
  4. Select your webstore link.
  5. Click on the Syncs tab.
  6. Then, click Create full sync.
    How long the stock takes to be added/removed will depend on the number of items on the store.
