Before you get started
Understanding Shopify navigation
After you add products and create collections, webpages, store policies, or blog posts, you need to organise them on your online store so that customers will be able to find them.
You can view and change your online store navigation from the Navigation page in your Shopify admin. The appearance and location of menus depend on your store's theme.
Departments and Categories are only brought across to Shopify if an item in those groups is sent from Retailer to the website. This is generally done by ticking the Webstore Item box in the Stock screen for the item.

Add a new Category to a Shopify Navigation:

Once you have added the category, this is how it should look:
If your category name contains symbols such as a comma or dash, do not include these in the category field; replace them with a space. For example, if your category name is ‘Spider-man’ you would enter it as ‘Spider man’ into the field.
