Shopify - Navigation - Adding new Departments & Categories

Before you get started

Notes
How your Departments and Categories are brought across is dependent on your Retailer data & TWC sync settings.

Understanding Shopify navigation

After you add products and collections, webpages, store policies, or blog posts, you need to organise them on your online store so that customers will be able to find them. You can view and change your online store navigation from the Menu page in your Shopify admin. The appearance and location of menus depend on your store's theme.
Notes
To add a link to a new product range, ensure you have synced at least one stock item from that product range.
"Vintage" themes use original theme architecture that rely on linking to collections & collections filtered by tags. If you have a warning under Menus advising theme incompatibility with Filters, you likely have a Vintage theme.
InfoAlert
If you have are not sure which theme type you have, refer to: Shopify Help Center | Check if your theme supports filtering
