New Putaway Through the Customer Screen
- From the Customer Screen, click on the magnifying glass icon.
Locate and select the customer that you want to create a putaway/hold for. - Click on the Orders button at the bottom of the screen.
- Click Add.
- In Stock Item, enter the PLU for the item to be put away for this customer.
Alternatively, press [Enter] on your keyboard and select the parent item (highlighted in white/yellow). - (Optional) In Subscription/Plan, select the subscription or plan from the drop down menu.
Click HERE to learn more about subscriptions. - (Optional) In Publisher Pay Code, select the appropriate publisher pay code.
This only applies if a subscription is specified.
Carrier Collect means that customer will be paying the newsagency.
Office Pay means that customer will be paying directly to the supplier. - In Delivery/Putaway, select Putaway.
- In Charge Delivery, select Do Not Charge For Delivery.
- In Price Column, select No Charge if the customer is paying when they pick up the order.
Alternatively, select Normal Price if it is to be charged to an account when the weekly customer billing is run. - Change the quantities as required.
- In Start Date, select a date for the order the begin.
- Click Save then Close.
- The order will now show up in the window in the top-right of the Customer Screen.
New Putaway Through the Stock Enquiry Screen
- From anywhere in Retailer, press [Alt]+[T] on your keyboard.
- Scan the barcode or enter the PLU of the particular stock item.
Alternatively, press [Enter] on your keyboard and select the parent item (highlighted in white/yellow). - Click on the Putaway a Copy For This Customer button.
- Locate and select the particular customer.
If the customer does not exist yet, click Add to create a new one. - You’ll be prompted with a message about charging the customer account.
Click Yes if the customer's account is to be charged when the weekly customer billing is run.
Click No if the customer is paying when they pick up the order. - The order will now show up in the window in the top-right of the Customer Screen.
