Windows 7 Unsupported

It is no longer possible to install the latest version of Retailer on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
If you try installing Retailer on Windows 7, an error will appear "This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running".

Microsoft ended Mainstream support for Windows 7 in January 2015.

How to Check Windows Version?
  1. On the keyboard, press the Windows key and the letter R together
  2. In the box that appears type winver. Click Ok
  3. Your Windows Version will appear on screen


Can I Upgrade Windows?
It may be possible to upgrade the Windows version to Windows 10. This is not something Tower Systems can assist with. You will need to speak to a local IT Technician.
If the computer is older than 10 years, it will likely be quite slow using Windows 10.

Replace PC
A New PC can be purchased on our website HERE. New PCs will come with Windows 10 or Windows 11.
You will need to check existing Receipt Printers and Scanners to ensure they are compatible.
If they use a Serial Port to connect to the PC, they will not be compatible with a New PC.
Devices that use a USB connection should be compatible with a New PC.
