What do I do with an error about 'Dictionary Invalidated'?

Sometimes, an error may appear in various parts of Retailer, saying something like 'Dictionary Invalidated'. Sometimes, it may even mention 'Words.nx1'.
This may happen while trying to add Stock, or while trying to do a search on something.

The error mainly relates to how Retailer searches for things using keywords or descriptions. It means that the search dictionary for the words is corrupted.
To resolve this:
  1. Close Retailer on all computers.
  2. Open Retailer Backup on the main server computer.
  3. Click on Check Tables on the left.
  4. Click Start in the screen that appears.

Warning
It's very important that no computers have Retailer open and trading during this process, otherwise there will be errors on the screen.
If there are errors during the Check Tables process, it may be best to restart the server computer, and try the process again.

Once the Check Tables process has completed without any errors, you can close Retailer Backup and try opening up Retailer again to resume trading.
