There are known issues with several older models of touchscreens not working on Windows 10. This article lists steps that may fix the issue. However, these are NOT guaranteed to work as the manufacturers have not listed Windows 10 as a supported platform for these touch screens. Additionally, the models below are mostly out-of-warranty and/or discontinued at this point in time.
Support for these screens falls outside the scope of Tower Systems Support and may be deemed as a billable case if you require assistance from our support consultants.
3M MicroTouch Touchscreen Monitor
- The driver needs to be upgraded to the latest version. Download the attached file at the bottom of this article.

HP AP5000 All-In-One Computer
- Within Windows' File Explorer, navigate to C:\SWSETUP\AP5000TOUCHDRIVERS.
- Double-click on setup.exe & uninstall the touchscreen driver.
- Restart the computer.
- Once restarted, navigate to C:\SWSETUP\AP5000TOUCHDRIVERS again.
- Double-click on setup.exe again and install the touchscreen driver.
- Restart the computer again.
HP L6015TM Touchscreen
- In the Search Bar on the bottom-left of the screen, type in Devices and Printers.
Alternatively, click on the Start/Windows button and type in Devices and Printers. - Click on the Devices and Printers result.
- Right-click on the HP L6015TM device and click Delete.
- Restart the computer. This should force Windows to re-install the touchscreen driver.
RP7 (RP7800) All-In-One Computer
- Shut down the computer.
- Unplug the power cable from the power socket.
- Press the power button, which is under the screen on the right side, 3-5 times.
- Plug the power cable back into the power socket.
- Turn the computer back on.
