Telstra Router Issue

There is currently an issue affecting some Telstra Internet Routers. This can prevent your computer from accessing certain websites.
This notice only applies if the Support Team has referred you to this advice

Known Issues

  1. Retailer Licence Manager cannot connect
  2. Retailer Xero Export gets errors
  3. Smartpay Eftpos cannot connect
  4. XChangeIt Newsagency Client Software cannot download invoice files

What you need to do

If the Tower Support Team has referred you to this advice, you are affected by this issue. You need to contact Telstra to resolve this issue.
You will need to contact Telstra (132 999) to have them reset your internet router.
Inform Telstra you have a Telstra Modem v7610 router affected by the V2.2.2.42 Firmware update, or alternatively ask for a Telstra Technician to visit your store.
Telstra have recognised there is an issue, and have updated instructions to their technicians to fix the firmware.
Telstra have also added a notice to their website on this issue HERE. Please Note, the steps they list will not fix the issue.
It’s important to start by explaining that you are having an issue with the Telstra Router Model v7610 rather than the internet line / connection
