Stop Cash Drawer Opening After Sale

The cash drawer can be configured to open based on the payment type used. If you find that the cash drawer is opening when you do not want it to, you can adjust the setting by following the steps below:

1. From the main screen of Retailer, click on Setup -> General.
   
2. Click on the Pay Types tab.
3. Identify the payment type for which you wish to prevent the cash drawer from opening.
4. Scroll to the right and untick Open Cash Drawer After Sale.
5. Click Save and Close.

If the payment type has Over Payments? ticked, the cash drawer will open regardless of the setting.
