Static Quantity (Service item)
Static Quantity is a feature that allows you to freeze the quantity on hand of an item at 0. This is intended for service-based items like engraving or Gift vouchers. This will assist you with reports and identifying discrepancies in the QOH for live products without having to filter through these items on the Stock Listing report.
To set an item to have a static quantity:
- From the main screen of Retailer go to Stock > Stock screen.
- Click on the magnifying glass at the bottom and search for the item you want to set to have a static quantity.
- Click on the Other tab.
- Tick the box Static Qty.
- Click Save.
