Show Customer Notes in Point of Sale

Retailer has the ability to show customer-specific notes directly on the Point of Sale screen when a customer is selected for a sale.

This can be useful for reminders to staff to not give credit for certain customers, identifying someone as a bad payer, or any other information you wish to remind staff about during transactions with that customer.

To enable this for a customer, follow the steps below:

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, click on the Customers icon.
  2. Click on the Notes tab. Enter or modify the notes here. 
  3. Tick the Show Notes tick-box.
  4. Click Save.

When you select a customer during a sale in the Point of Sale screen, the notes that you typed in will appear in the middle of the screen.
