Show Customer Notes in Point of Sale

When Show Notes is enabled in the customer's profile, Retailer can display this information directly on the Point of Sale screen when the customer is selected in the Point of Sale or Quote and Invoice Management.

This can be useful for reminders to staff not to give credit to certain customers, identifying someone as a bad payer, or any other information you want to remind staff about during transactions with that customer.

To enable this for a customer, follow the steps below:

  1. From the main screen of Retailer, click on the Customers icon.
  2. Click on the Notes tab. Enter or modify the notes here. 
  3. Tick the Show Notes tick-box.
  4. Click Save.

When you select a customer during a sale in the Point of Sale or Quote and Invoice Management screen, the notes you typed will appear in the middle of the screen.
