Setup Print and Email for Quote and Invoice Management

The instructions below explain how to set up Report Mapping for Quote and Invoice Management. These settings are used when Previewing, Printing and Emailing from Quote and Invoice Management.
  1. On the top menu bar of Retailer, click Setup → Point of Sale.
  2. In the Point of Sale Setup window, click the Terminals tab.
  3. Under the list of terminals, click the Report Mapping tab.

Quote and Invoice Management uses the following Report Types and Template:
  1. Customer Quote - Tax Excluded Invoice or Tax Included Invoice.
  2. Proforma - Tax Excluded Invoice or Tax Included Invoice.
  3. Reserved Pickslip - ReservedPickSlip.
  4. Customer Invoice - Tax Excluded Invoice or Tax Included Invoice.
  5. Customer Pickslip PickSlip or PickSlipNZ.
Each Report Type requires a line in Report Mapping for the Preview and Print buttons to work properly in Quote and Invoice Management.

If you wish to email, then you need to add a second line for the following and set the Printer setting to Email Customers via Retailer:
  1. Customer Quote
  2. Proforma
  3. Customer Invoice

Add Report Mapping

  1. In the Report Mapping list, look for the Report Type, for example, Customer Quote. If it is not in the list, click the plus button (+) to add a new line and select Customer Quote as the Report Type.
  2. In the Printer column, select the printer you wish to print to. Alternatively, select Preview as the printer if you do not have a printer.
  3. Choose a Template from the list, e.g. Tax Excluded Invoice or Tax Included Invoice.
  4. To remove Report Mapping, select the Report Mapping line and click the minus button or press the [Delete] key on your keyboard.
  5. Once complete, click the green tick button  to Save.
  6. If you wish to email the quote, repeat these steps and choose 'Email Customers via Retailer' as the Printer. Make sure you select the same Template as the Print line.
  7. Repeat these steps for each Report Type listed above.
Report Mapping options for printing and emailing are set per computer terminal. Repeat the above steps for each terminal you wish to use Quote and Invoice Management.
You can only see the available printers for the terminal you're currently using. Be sure to go to each terminal and check these settings from each one.

Once complete, the following lines should be visible in the Report Mapping list, in addition to the Report Mapping for other Report Types.
