The Sales by Department Report shows a list of staff members and their total sales for each department for a given time period. 

Generating the Report

  1. On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Reports -> Staff -> Sales By Department.
  2. In Start Date enter the date you wish the report to begin at.
  3. In End Date enter the date you wish the report to finish at.
  4. Click Preview or Print.

Reading the Report 

  1. Staff Member – Name of each staff member in your system, Lists all staff regardless of sales.
  2. Departments – Lists each department by name and the total sales amount for each staff member in these departments.
  3. Department Totals – Lists the total sales for all staff from each department.

Exporting the Report

You can export the report to either a PDF document or Excel spreadsheet by using the Preview button and following the below steps:
  1. PDF - Click on the red PDF button at the top of the report and choose your save destination.
  2. Excel spreadsheet - Click on the Print button at the top left. Tick 'Print to File' and select 'Xlsx Data File'. Click on the three dots button [...] to choose your save destination. Click OK to save the file.
