RoamV2 - Setup Integrated Eftpos

Create Payment Method

If there isn't already a Eftpos Payment Type, you will need to add it
  1. Login to the Roam Dashboard
  2. Down left hand side, click Settings
  3. Down left hand side, click Payment Methods
  4. Click Add Payment Method
  5. Enter a Name for the Payment Method
  6. From the Select Payment Method drop down list, Choose the type of Eftpos Integration
  7. From the Select PayType drop down list, Choose the matching Payment Type from Retailer for sales to use when imported to Retailer
  8. Click Save.

Enable Payment Method for Roam Terminal

  1. Login to the Roam Dashboard
  2. Down left hand side, click Settings
  3. Down left hand side, click Terminals
  4. Click the Terminal(s) you wish to enable the Payment Method for
  5. Under POS Payment Methods, tick the Eftpos Payment Method. Click Save
  6. Click Back and repeat steps 4-5 for all terminals that will use Eftpos

Pair Eftpos Terminal to Roam

The Eftpos Terminal needs to be paired to your Roam Terminal. Follow the relevant instructions below for your eftpos terminal

Pair Tyro Terminal

  1. Open the Roam Point of Sale
  2. Click the Menu button ☰ in the top left
  3. Click Settings
  4. In the Roam POS Settings list, click Configure Tyro
  5. Click Pair Terminal
  6. Follow the Tyro Pairing prompts

Pair Linkly Cloud Terminal

  1. Open the Roam Point of Sale
  2. Click the Menu button ☰ in the top left
  3. Click Settings
  4. In the Roam POS Settings list, click Configure Linkly
  5. Click Pair New Pinpad
  6. Enter Linkly Cloud Username, Password and Pairing Code. Click Save
If you're unsure of your Linkly Cloud Username, Password or Pairing Code, contact your bank.
