Retailer 3.4.1.X Update Notes
New Features
OAuth2 Email Authentication Support (Microsoft 365 &
Gmail)
Microsoft is officially deprecating Basic Authentication for
SMTP in Exchange Online, with estimated deadline scheduled for September 2025.
Retailer previously relied on legacy email protocols (Basic Auth via SMTP),
which is being phased out by both Microsoft and Google.
- New
support has been introduced to transition Retailer’s email systems to
OAuth2-based modern authentication.
- This
ensures ongoing compatibility with Microsoft 365 and Gmail accounts and
meets updated security standards.
Linkly Cloud EFTPOS – CPU Usage Optimisation:
- Fixed an issue where certain transactions caused high CPU utilisation on POS terminals using Linkly Cloud EFTPOS integration. Processing performance is now significantly improved.
AI Invoicing
- Enhancement: Support for CSV file type in AI Invoice Import has been added.

Barcode Manager
- Label

the login process received no response from IMAP SMTP servers.
- Multi-Store
Supplier Orders: Orders now send from the correct store location
instead of defaulting to Location 0.
Point of Sale
- EmailQ
– Cancel Email Prompt: Cancelling out of the ‘Enter Email Address’
prompt for receipts no longer queues an email without a recipient.
- Invoice

when adjusting quantities in POS for invoice credits.

quotes.

incorrectly in emailed invoices in some scenarios.

same price for both start and end in a price range.

to a previously used name.
Suppliers & Departments

creation or editing.
Weblink
- Roam
Product SSC: Products created in Roam now correctly populate SSC
(Stock Service Code) data upon sync to Retailer.
MailQ
- Gmail Attachments – Resolved an issue where file attachments could accumulate onto subsequent emails sent via Gmail, resulting in incorrect or unexpected files being included.
