Restoring Data From a Backup
This is a destructive process! The current data in your database will be PERMANENTLY REPLACED by the restored copy.
This process cannot be reversed, so be 100% confident that you have chosen the correct settings. Please call Tower Systems Support if you have any questions.
- Close Retailer on ALL computers.
- Plug in the USB drive with the backup file that you want to restore.
- Double-click on the RetailerV3 Backup icon on the desktop.
- Click on Restore Files on the left.
- Next to Archive File , click on the image of the yellow folder. Navigate to the location of the backup file, select the file and click Open .
- If you need to restore the entire database, choose the Select All option underneath the file list. If there are only certain files you need to restore, choose the appropriate selection.
- Click Restore Now .
