Restoring Data From a Backup

This is a destructive process! The current data in your database will be PERMANENTLY REPLACED by the restored copy.

This process cannot be reversed, so be 100% confident that you have chosen the correct settings. Please call Tower Systems Support if you have any questions.
  1. Close Retailer on ALL computers.
  2. Plug in the USB drive with the backup file that you want to restore.
  3. Double-click on the RetailerV3 Backup icon on the desktop.
  4. Click on  Restore Files  on the left.
  5. Next to  Archive File , click on the image of the yellow folder. Navigate to the location of the backup file, select the file and click  Open .
  6. If you need to restore the entire database, choose the  Select All  option underneath the file list. If there are only certain files you need to restore, choose the appropriate selection.
  7. Click  Restore Now .
