There may be times when a customer is added twice and needs to be merged.
Backup your data prior to performing the following, as this process is irreversible.
- From the Main Screen of Retailer, Click Utilities in the top menu bar.
- Click Merge Customers from the list.
- Enter Old Customer Number. This customer will be merged into the New Customer.
- Enter New Customer Number. This is the customer that you wish to remain and contains all data.
- Press Enter after entering New Customer Number. Details will add to grid.
- Repeat steps 3-5 until grid contains all customers to be Merged.
- Click Merge.
- A warning will appear confirming you wish to Merge. Click Yes
- A report will appear listing the customers that have been merged. You can Print, Save or Close the Report.
- Close Merge Customers when finished
If you do not know the Customer Number, click into the Customer Number box and press enter to open the Find Customer Screen
