How to Change the Amount of a Till Float

A till float is the amount of money that is in the till at the start of day for trading.

This article assumes that you have set up your float according to Till Float Setup.

To change this amount, follow the steps below:

1. From the main screen of Retailer, click Setup -> Point of Sale.
2. Click on the Terminals tab.
3. The line highlighted in yellow is the terminal you are currently using. Take note of the Till ID.
4. Click on the Till Setup tab.
5. Locate the corresponding Till ID. 
6. Click in the Float column and type in the new float amount.
7. Click Save.
