Home Delivery Report

The Home Delivery Report lists all customers who have a delivery order for a chosen newspaper, and a chosen day. You can chose what newspaper and what day, you want the report to display.
This will allow you to easily see what customers you delivery a newpaper to, and on what days.
You can also select up to 5 newspapers on the same report.

Generating the Report

  1. On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Reports → Customers → Home Delivery.
  2. Select the Start Date - Only orders which are current at the selected date will be displayed.
  3. In the Stock Item Section, enter the PLU of the stock item/s you wish to see in the report. (Maximum of 5)
    You must enter the stock item's PLU. You cannot enter the barcode or description. This is to make sure that the report is using the same Parent Stock Item that the order is linked to.
  4. Tick which days you want to see in the report for each stock item.
  5. Include if only on Selected Days – When ticked the report will only show items on the selected days.
  6. Check to see if Customer is Stopped? - Will check to see if a customer is stopped before adding them to the report.
  7. Only Print Total Quantities – Will only print the total quantity of customers in the selected criteria. You will not see any customer details.
  8. Print Customers in which order – Selects which way the customers are ordered in the report. The options are:
    1. Surname
    2. CusNum (Customer Number)
    3. Street Order
  9. Click on Preview or Print.
    1. Preview will display the report on the screen.
    2. Print will send the report to your default windows printer.

Reading the Report

The Home Delivery Report lists the customers who match your chosen options (above). The top of the report displays the criteria of your search. Underneath this, all the customers who meet the requirements, will be displayed.
To read the report:
  1. Cus Num – Displays the customer number.
  2. Customer Name – Displays the first and last name of the customer.
  3. Customer Address – Displays the address of the customer.
  4. Phone Number – Lists the main phone number of the customer.
  5. Total Number of Customers – Displays the total number of customers who fit into the selected criteria. This appears underneath all the customer details.

Saving the Report

You can save the report to a file.'
  1. Click Preview to preview the report.
  2. At the top of the screen, click on the DISK 💾 icon. 
  3. Select the location to where you want to save the report. 
  4. In 'Save as Type' at the bottom, select your chosen file type. You can chosen between the follow file types:
    1. Quick Report Type (.qrp)
    2. Text File (.txt)
    3. HTML document (.html)
    4. RTF file (.rtf)
    5. WMF file (.wmf)

    6. PDF document (.pdf) - This is the most common file type.
  5. Click on Save.
Export to Excel
This report cannot be exported to Excel.
