Hallmark has the ability to receive sales data daily from newsagencies, providing almost real-time insight into product sales. This allows Hallmark to better predict sales cycles and helps prevent out-of-stock situations in your store.
These instructions should be completed on every computer running an End of Shift.
- From the main screen of Retailer, go to Setup → EDI.
- Use the blue arrows to find HALLMARK.
- In the Directories tab:
- Set Inbound File Extension to INV=.dd2;.ddo
- Set Outbound File Extension to SAL=.sl2
NOTE: The extension above is a lowercase letter L, not an I or a one. - In the File Transfer tab:
- Set Files are to be sent and received by to Tower FTP.
- Set Send Sales Frequency to End of Shift.
- In Customer ID, type in your Hallmark account number.
- Tick Send Sales Data for this EDI System.
- In EDI Abbreviation, type in HALLMARK.
- Set Send Sales Data for to Selected Suppliers.
- Click on Add Supp and select your Hallmark supplier.
- Click on the FTP Settings button.
Enter the following settings:
Server Type: FTP Server
Server Name: ftp.hallmarkcards.com.au
User Name: hmkftp
Password: NX2HMK&Dat
Port: 21
Click Passive Mode FTP. - In the Utilities tab:
- Tick Enable this EDI System.
- Click Save and Close.

Ensure that you repeat the above instructions on any computer that runs an End of Shift.
