Always Print A Receipt After Every Sale
When this option is enabled, a receipt will print out after every sale. However, it can be overridden by the Confirm Receipt option.
When this option is disabled, a receipt will not print as long as the GST of the sale is less than the amount specified in the Auto Receipt Tax Amount option.
- On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Setup -> System.
- Click on the Receipts tab.
- Tick or untick the Always Print a Receipt After Every Sale option, as required.
- Click Save.
Auto Receipt Tax Amount
In this option, you specify the minimum GST amount that a sale must accrue before a receipt automatically prints. By default, this amount is $4.545 - the amount accrued in a typical $50 sale.
- On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Setup -> System.
- Click on the Receipts tab.
- In the Auto Receipt Tax Amount box, type in the intended amount.
- Click Save.
Confirm Receipt
When enabled, Retailer will ask if you want to print a receipt or not. This option can be enabled for either All Sales or EFTPOS Sales Only. The option also takes precedence over the previous two options explained above.
If it is disabled, you won't be prompted and the receipts will print or not print based on the previous two options explained above.
- On the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Setup -> Point of Sale.
- Click on the Terminals tab.
- For the terminal highlighted in yellow, click on the Confirm field, also highlighted in yellow.
- Select between:
- None
- EFTPOS Only
- All
- Click Save.
- Repeat for other terminals, as required.
