Emailing Customer Statements
Before trying to email statements you must you have all your email account settings set up correctly. For more information on this, click HERE.
Enable Customers to Receive E-mails
- From the main screen of Retailer, click on Customer -> Customer Screen.
- Click on the Contacts tab.

Enter the customer's e-mail address in E-Mail.
You can enter multiple emails if you separate them using a semicolon ;
- Tick Send Customer Account via E-mail.
- Click Save.
Setup Customer Statement Email Subject & Message
You are able to change the default customer statement email's subject and body message that is sent to customers who have opted to receive email statements instead of printed statements.
- From the main screen of Retailer, click on Customer -> Customer Statements
- Click Setup
- Under Email Settings, add Subject and Message Text. The Statement is attached to an email with this Subject and Message. This setting is set per terminal.
Sending Customer Statements via E-mail
Customer statements can then be e-mailed in the following ways:
- To individual customers, one at a time
- To all customers that match a specific criteria
To Individual Customers
- From the main screen of Retailer, click on the Customer icon. Alternatively, on the top menu bar of Retailer, click on Customer -> Customer Screen.
- Click on the magnifying glass icon and select the particular customer from the Find Customer Screen.
- In the Transaction Menu, click on Customer Statements.
- Select Current Statement and tick Save Statements.
- Ensure Email Statement is ticked.
- Click on Preview or Email. Previewing will not send the email statements at all, so be sure to click Email to actually send them.
There will be confirmation boxes either way.
- Click Close.
- When prompted to send the e-mail, click Yes.
To All Customers
- From the main screen of Retailer, click on Customers -> Customer Statements.
- Select E-Mail Statements.
- (Optional) Tick Select Customer Range and select the range of customer numbers to produce statements for.
- (Optional) In Account Category, select the categories to produce statements for.
- Click Preview to check the statements first. This will NOT send the email statements at all.
- Click Send E-Mail Statements to send the statements.
There will be confirmation boxes either way.
- Click Yes on the warning screen and the emails will be sent to the customers with their statement as an attachment.
