If the date format is in the US format of MM/DD/YYYY. This can cause errors in Retailer as well as cause date-related items (sales, arrivals, returns etc.) to be recorded incorrectly.

To fix this:

  1. Right-click on the Start/Windows button and then select Control Panel. 
    Alternatively, press [Windows Key]+[X] on your keyboard and then select Control Panel.
    Alternatively, click the start/Windows button and type 'control', then click Control Panel.
  2. Click on Region.

  3. Click on the Formats tab. Make sure the settings are as shown below:

  4. Click on the Location tab. Make sure the Home location is set to Australia or New Zealand.
  5. Click on the Administrative tab. Make sure Current language for non-Unicode programs is set to English (Australia)
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart your computer.
