Changing the Price of a Stock Item
Changing Price Permanently
- From the main screen of Retailer, click on Stock and then select Stock Screen.
- Locate the stock item you wish to change the description of by using the magnifying glass at the bottom of the stock screen and searching for the correct stock item.
- Change the price in the field labelled Sell Price and/or Retail Price as required.
- Click Save.

Changing the sell price from the Stock Screen will prompt Retailer to ask if you want to recalculate the cost price, trade price, or web price. This prompt cannot be disabled. If you would like this to be changed, you can submit a
software idea.
Changing Price Temporarily In a Single Sale
- Scan the item into the point of sale screen.
- Press [Esc] on your keyboard.
- Select the item you wish to change. Press [Insert] on your keyboard.
- Type in the temporary price you want the item to have.
- Click Save.
- Continue processing the sale.
