If you encounter the following error message: TAsciiFile, Open -> File not found, it indicates there's a problem with Retailer attempting to open your cash drawer. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

Make sure they are all plugged in firmly, and not damaged. Unplug and re-plug the cables to check if necessary. Then, turn on the computer and try the cash drawer again.
If the cash drawer is still not working, check the settings in Retailer.
On the Main Screen of Retailer, click on Setup -> General, in the Pay Types tab, make sure your payment types are ticked to open cash drawer where appropriate.
On the Main Screen of Retailer, click on Setup -> Point of Sale, in the Terminals tab, check that the current terminal (highlighted in yellow) has a till ID that has been ticked to have cash drawer (check till ID under Till Setup).
If the till drawer is still not working, contact Tower Support.
