Adding Notes to Items in a Sale
Starting from Retailer 3.3.2, you can now add notes to individual line items in the POS screen. These notes will appear in the POS screen, and can be viewed or hidden with the '+' / '-' icon next to each item.
Notes added to items will also appear on the receipt that is generated for the customer. If the sale is suspended to Quote & Invoice Management, the notes will also appear on the quote, too.
Adding a Note to an Item
To add a note to an item in the POS screen, double-click the item after it has been added to the sale. In the window that appears, enter your note into the 'Item Note' section at the bottom. When finished, hit OK. You should be able to now see your note in the POS screen.
You can also add/edit notes to items in finished transactions via the Previous Sales Screen. From the Previous Sales screen, select the intended sale. In the list of items on the sale, each item will have a '>' symbol at the start of the line. Click this symbol to show the notes. You can double click an existing note to make changes, or press [Insert] on your keyboard to create a new one.
